Know your Malaysian Durians....

Meh Akak nak ajar ni jenis-jenis durian....katanya hantu deriankan. Kalau dah tau jenis-jenis durian senang sikit nak pilih.

Kat bawah tu siap ada tips bagai nak pilih derian.

Know your Malaysian Durians.......

How to Choose a Good Durian / 6 Steps to Choosing A Good Durian

First of all, what is a good d! urian? For us, a good durian is one that is ripe, fresh and free from larvae/worms. However, a durian with worm doesn't mean it is not good because it can still be delicious.

So how do you know if a durian is good or fresh?

Here are some steps you can try when looking for a good durian:

1.        Look at the tip, if it is too dry means it is no longer fresh. A little dry is okay.
2.        Look at the bottom, if it is crack it may be over-ripe or not so fresh. But it still can be delicious.
3.        Smell the durian, if there is a strong smell, it is most likely good. If there is no smell, it is probably not ripe.
4.        Use your fingernails to scratch the durian, if it sounds hollow it is likely to be a good one.
5.        Pu! t the durian close to your ear, shake it and listen carefully, if there is a 'moving' sound, it is likely to be good.
6.        Look for holes around the durian, if there is tiny hole somewhere, there is likely to be a worm (larva of an insect) that has burrow into it.
7.        Yes, there is actually a 7th step, but it's not going to be useful. If you have the chance to open the durian, open it and taste it.

Way! s Of Opening A Durian

There are few ways to open the durian. Some might find opening a durian just too difficult, so I'll list other methods in case you want to try another way.
  1.        Use a short knife, one that is slightly bigger than the standard swiss army knife- most durian farmers use this.
2.        Use a big knife, the one for chopping meat - ladies love to use this.
3.        Use bare hands - works well for some over-ripe durians.
4.        Use a special durian opener, which is made of wood. Not exactly sure where you can find this tool.

Selamat Makan Durian semua...kalau panas minum air dalam kulitnya ya...

Can water be affected by our words?

Somebody email me this and I find it kinda interesting. So I tot why not share it with you guys.

Can water be affected by our words?

Dr. Masaru Emoto, a Japanese scientist, believes so.

And he has proof.

Dr. Emoto took water droplets, exposed them to various words, music, and environments, and froze them for three hours. He then examined the crystal formations under a dark field microscope. And he took photographs.

The results were totally mind-blowing.

Here's a photo of ordinary water without any prayer spoken over it. The molecular structure is in disarray.

The photo below is water after the prayer was said. It's simply breathtaking. (I now have a great respect for praying before meals! More on this later.)

Dr. Emoto also exposed water to Heavy Metal music. Here's how it looks like. Looks sad if you ask me.

Here's water exposed to classical music and folk dance music. Looks much better, right?

Next, Dr. Emoto stuck a piece of paper with these words: "You make me sick. I will kill you." Here's how the frozen water droplets looks like under the microscope…

Below is how water looked like with the words "Love" over it. The difference is amazing.

This is Polluted water…

This is water from Lourdes , France . Utterly beautiful, right?

Wait A Minute— Aren't You Made Up Of Water?

Yes! 72% of your body is made up of water.

Imagine how your words affect your own body. When you say, "I'm a failure," or "I'm hopeless," or "I won't get well," imagine how these words weaken your health.

Make a choice to say the best words out there. Say often, "I'm wonderful," and "I'm beautiful,".

It's not only water.

Dr. Emoto also experimented with cooked rice. He placed one cup of cooked rice in two airtight jars. On one jar, he wrote, "I love you," and on the other, "You fool." Everyday for 30 days, Dr. Emoto would say these words to each jar of rice.

After 30 days, the "I love you" rice was still white. But the "You fool" rice was so rotten, it was black. How can you explain this?

Just as a side note: When I was a child, my mother taught me to pray before meals. Now I realize it wasn't just a nice thing to do. When I pray over my meal, I know a material transformation takes place in the molecular level of the food that I pray for. I say, "Be blessed," to the water and food on the table—and I expect it to be blessed.

Yeah – that's why we always wish others well on birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, festivals, examination days, etc…. BE BLESSED, everybody!!!

3 dalam 1 dentist appoinment

Last Saturday I ada appoinment dengan dentist. Janji dengan dentist pukul 10 pagi.
Last-last pukul 11 pagi baru sampai kat dentist sampai klinik gigi calllah tanya jadi ke appoinment. Lambat pun sebab Adik ada taekwondo class on Saturday. Lupalah pulak masa buat dentist appoinment tu.

Alang-alang dah sampai dentistkan so suruh doktor check sekali gigi anak dara dua beradik tu.
Adik kena tampal gigi geraham dia and Kakak just buat scaling and cleaning jer.

Adik tengah tampal gigi. Bagus betul anak dara dua orang ni, relax jer. Kalau anak jantan I tu mau dah buat perangai.

Sabar menanti turn I pulak. Kasi kawtim budak-budak ni dulu baru turn Mama dia pulak sebab Mama punya procedure lama.
I kena tampal gigi yang depan geraham bongsu tu sebab balance geraham bongsu tu dah tolak geraham depan sampai cataris. So doktor kena patahkan sikit bahagian yang rosak tu then baru tampal. Lama tu....
Habis buat tampal menampal tu, sambung buat scaling and cleaning.
Ngilu giler tu....tahan jer sakit + ngilu.

Resultsnya selepas prosedur-prosedur diatas ya...seganlah nak senyum luas-luas =P

Doktor bagi gift ni semua. Ni macam nak suruh gigi dengan gigih....gosok gigi ya jangan tak gosok.

Mama, Adik nak beli toilet

Beria-ia dia semalam kata nak beli toilet. I tak faham lagi masa tu toilet apa. Siap dia bukak toilet mandi I tunjuk jamban tu.

Pastu dia duk repeat selagi boleh macam broken record nak ajak mama ayah dia pergi One Utama pergi beli.

Pastu bila tanya kedai mana dia tak tau tapi dia kata nanti dia tunjuk. Rupanya kedai depan Best kat new wing One Utama tu.

ni lah jambannya ya tuan-tuan dan puan-puan.
Isi air kat dalam dia so bila bukak lid dia nanti air terpancut.
Pastu ayahnya duk melayan anaknya membeli apa ntah lagi mainannya.
Benda hitam goey-goey..lembik-lembik. Bila letak kat tangan macam jelly jer lembiknya...
yaaaa...itu ayah dia yang melayannya ya

ni ha nama kedainya Windancer.
Macam-macam mak nenek mainan ada kat kedai ni. So kepada ibu bapa silalah cautious bila lalu depan kedai ini ya sebab ditakuti anak anda akan obsess bila lalu sini.

Gambar ni saja jer ambik. Kedai depan Windancer tu ler....comel jerkan.

England kalah tu malam tadi :'(
